We recognise that the impacts of chemical exposure are shaped not only by gender, but also by intersecting social, economic, environmental, and geographic factors. The platform seeks to reflect this complexity and include diverse perspectives, regional contexts, cultural relevance, and multiple languages as much as possible.

Collaborative

The platform is a shared resource developed with and for a broad community of researchers, policymakers, and practitioners. We actively encourage contributions and partnerships to strengthen and expand the knowledge base.

Aligned with gender equality principles and frameworks

All content is assessed to ensure consistency with the objectives of the Gender & Chemicals Partnership and relevant international frameworks, including the United Nations 2030 Agenda and the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. Content that reinforces gender stereotypes is not included.

Transparent processes and quality assessment

Before publication in the knowledge base, resources are reviewed by expert reviewers within the Gender & Chemicals Partnership. This assessment considers thematic relevance, source credibility and authority, potential conflicts of interest, accuracy and reliability, and timeliness.
